International organisations and coalitions can often help set and determine policy for global challenges. For example:

• In AI policy, key players on the international level include the OECD AI Policy Observatory and civil society coalitions like the Partnership on AI.
• In biosecurity, key players include the World Health Organisation, the Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit and international coalitions like the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations.
• In nuclear security, key players include NATO, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the CTBTO Preparatory Commission and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs.
• In climate policy, the United Nations hosts a yearly international Climate Change Conference and produces regular reports on climate scenarios and impacts through the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
